Welcome to the

In order to realize the potential of the many, many talented and ambitious people in the eastern part of Pinal County a group of civic and government leaders have come together to work in cooperation as a region to nurture those natural advantages that will allow us to have a destiny of our own making. At this time in the development of this young cooperative effort there is a clear possibility of a sustainable regional economy. This representative group of government agencies, political interests, business owners, educators and community activists from all of the towns from Superior through Oracle will succeed in creating a region sustainable future. As you well know these are resilient people. They have faced lay-offs and mine closures.

The Mammoth Miner’s Memorial

honors the more than 2200 miners who lost their lives mining at the St. Anthony, Magma, Tiger , and BHP copper mines.  Each tragic death forced improvements in mine safety, which benefited their fellow miners.  It is to honor and thank them that the memorial has been created. www.themmm.org
